Who we are

Northstar Apps is an independent product studio. We build Minimalist Launcher, Flow Launcher, Rise Habit Tracker, and Brainwise. This policy explains what data we handle when you visit this website or use our apps, and what we do with it.

This website

This website collects nothing. No cookies, no trackers, no analytics, no forms. If you email us, we receive what you send — that's it.

Our apps

We collect the minimum needed to run and improve each app: anonymous usage statistics (like which features are used) and crash reports. Your content — habits, settings, home-screen layouts, learning progress — stays on your device or in your personal iCloud/Google backup, and we cannot read it. Where an app offers optional accounts or sync, the data involved is described in that app's store listing.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not show third-party ads. We do not build advertising profiles. Our business is simple: you pay for our apps, and that's how we make money.

Purchases

Payments and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your card details — we only receive an anonymous confirmation that a purchase happened so the app can unlock.

Third-party services

Our apps rely on platform services from Apple and Google (distribution, payments, backups) and standard crash-reporting/analytics tools. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.

Data deletion

Deleting an app removes its on-device data. If you believe we hold any data tied to you and want it removed, email us and we'll take care of it.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and revise the date below. We won't quietly weaken it.
